By accessing or using Scout, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.
Scout reserves the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
2. Use of Service
Scout is a job listing platform connecting candidates with recruiters in Europe. You may use Scout only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these terms.
You agree not to post false, misleading, or discriminatory content, or to engage in any conduct that violates applicable law.
3. User Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or are used in a manner inconsistent with the platform's intended purpose.
4. Recruiter Subscriptions
Access to the recruiter portal requires an active paid subscription. Fees are billed in advance and are non-refundable except as required by applicable law.
Subscriptions may be cancelled at any time via the billing portal. Access continues until the end of the current billing period.
5. Candidate Profiles
Candidates retain ownership of the content they submit, including CVs and profile information. By submitting content, you grant Scout a limited licence to display and share it with recruiters on the platform.
You may delete your profile and all associated data at any time by contacting support.
6. Intellectual Property
The Scout platform, including its design, code, and branding, is owned by Scout and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the platform without our express written consent.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Scout shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.
Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid to Scout in the twelve months preceding the claim.
8. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the European Union and applicable member state law. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of [jurisdiction — placeholder pending legal review].
